Role Description

Are you someone who enjoys helping people make smart financial decisions while building lasting relationships? Our growing State Farm agency is looking for a motivated professional who wants to build a career—not just sell insurance.

In this role, you'll help customers protect what matters most by starting with their auto and homeowners insurance needs, then expanding those conversations into life insurance, disability income protection, Medicare Supplement plans, and eventually retirement solutions.

Success in this position comes from building trust with customers, uncovering additional protection needs, and becoming a trusted advisor throughout every stage of life. Auto and homeowners insurance are often the beginning of the relationship—not the end.

As you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to obtain additional licenses and develop expertise in retirement and investment solutions, allowing you to provide even greater value to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new customer relationships through marketing, referrals, and community networking.
  • Assist customers with their auto, homeowners, renters, and other Property & Casualty insurance needs.
  • Identify opportunities to educate customers about life insurance, disability income protection, and Medicare Supplement coverage.
  • Conduct customer reviews to ensure insurance coverage keeps pace with changing life circumstances.
  • Proactively contact existing customers to educate them on additional products and services that can better protect their families and financial future.
  • Build long-term relationships by providing exceptional customer service and personalized recommendations.
  • Follow up on leads, referrals, and agency marketing initiatives.
  • Meet individual and team production goals across multiple product lines.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development, including obtaining additional licenses to offer retirement and investment solutions.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and identifying customer needs.
  • Coachable with a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
  • Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Property & Casualty license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Interest in obtaining securities and investment licensing to provide retirement planning solutions.
  • Passion for helping customers protect their families, income, and financial future.
  • Comfortable with learning to navigate computer programs (Salesforce, Outlook, etc.)
